Brownies....yes....I said a naughty word ;)

Sharla posted some yummy recipes and I thought I would share one of my favorite Paleo recipes. No processed sugars....and NO GRAINS. These seriously are delicious. I generally do not put the chips in there when I am on a no sugar challenge, unless you purchase certain kinds. (I believe I have found Ghirardelli bars that have worked in the past.) They are a little more pricey to make (obviously not your $1 box mix), but I have cut the cost by purchasing the almond butter at Costco.

This is from the website elanaspantry.com. This lady has some great tasty treats and she uses almond and cocount flours, as some of children have ciliac.

Chocolate Chip Brownies

2 eggs

1 ¼ cups agave nectar

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

½ teaspoon celtic sea salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

In a large bowl, blend almond butter until smooth with a hand blender
Blend in eggs, then blend in agave and vanilla
Blend in cacao, salt and baking soda, then fold in chocolate chips
Grease a 9 x 13 pyrex baking dish
Pour batter into dish
Bake at 325° for 35-40 minutes
Makes about 24 brownies

I would personally save this for your sweet day....and make sure there are other people around. You wont be able to stop at just one!
