Day 1 of your new life begins today! You may be feeling a little apprehensive about what to do next and what to expect today. I thought I'd help you out by explaining it here.
1. Open up that Excel spreadsheet you received last week, grab your scale and tape measure and fill out the yellow boxes on the Initial Set Up page. ** BE SURE to do this at the time of day & under the same conditions that you expect to do this EACH Monday so your numbers are consistent every week.
2. If you so desire, you can print out the Tally Sheet to put up on the fridge or wherever to keep track of your points until you get a chance to fill out your Excel spreadsheet at the end of the week OR you can just fill out the spreadsheet each night. It's up to you. If you are on the maintenance plan, you will have to use the tally sheet from the loss spreadsheet as I played with it but could never get it to save correctly.
3. Contact your teammates, try to get as many points as possible each day and start working on the weekly challenge.
I encourage you to take some time to test out some of the resources on this site. Along the menu bar on the left side, you will find various links that I've found helpful in the past, just click on anything and start exploring!! Also, an exciting new addition that is coming soon is a FAQ page! You'll find it under the Pages area when I have it up and running. It will be a work in progress, so bear with me.
I also mentioned last week that my son is programming me a new website. I have seen it and it is progressing nicely. His goal is to have it up and running before points reporting next Monday. I am excited about it because it will have the main blog but then also blogs for each team color as an easy way to make team contact. I have found in the past that blogs are a good way to share recipes, tips, and other ideas too. It will be a website that you have to register and log onto. As soon as it is ready I will send out an email with the web address. I will also post the link on this blog when it is ready.
As I said before, I want everyone to have a GREAT experience and reach their goals, so if there's anyway I can help you, please let me know!
Good luck to everyone this week!!
Kim
