I forgot about the bonus challenge from week 1. You can read about it
here. So IF you completed the thing you were going to do to achieve your goal you get 150 bonus points. If you haven't reported points yet you can put that in the comments section. I would also like you to comment here on what you had decided to do and whether you achieved your goal.
So...my big goal this challenge was to use FitDay to track my calories. When I signed up I also decided to track my activities. I am proud to say that I tracked them both every day so I got my extra 150 points. I also learned that I was eating WAY too many calories so it helped me to rectify that. I just hope that I can continue to use the good habits that I have started.
ReplyDeleteMy goal was to get three different types of workouts in a week. I did add a body flow class to my mix. However, there was a week or two I did not make it to that class and only did two different workouts. Sick kids and my calling got in the way on a couple of weeks. So, I am doing much better with my workouts but did not get my bonus points:(
ReplyDeleteMy goal was to exercise more. My plan was to accomplish that either by exercising more than 45 minutes a day or 6 days a week or both :) My hope was that it would help with weight loss. While I did accomplish the more exercise part of my goal, I only lost 2 pounds total over the 6 weeks. Very frustrating! I think that what I have learned is that how much I eat is more important that how much I exercise. So I need to do better about watching my calorie intake and hopefully that will help facilitate my weight loss.
ReplyDeleteMatt here. My goal was to add swimming and strength workouts to my exercise mix. My requirement to get the bonus was to schedule swim lessons (I just had my 2nd lesson today) and to get at least 1 swim or strength workout in per week. I was able to do more strength but I have been able to get some swimming in the last couple weeks. I am ready for the fall/winter where I have to put the bike up. :( I have noticed that my strength has increased a lot. I have a ways to go with the swimming technique but I got the hard part (getting in the pool and getting going).
