FREEDOM!
Yep, it's true. This week you will be ON YOUR OWN! No points to count, no veggies to count, no restrictions, no accountability, no nothing. SCARY!!! Okay, for me anyway. This is where we get to take off the training wheels for a little practice time and see how we do. Here's how this week will work:
1. This coming Monday, August 22nd, you will report your points from the week before as you normally have done.
2. Put your spreadsheet away and put your resolve to the test.
3. Ask yourself these questions: What will I do with this freedom? Will I throw out all my hard work and greet the week with reckless abandon and return to my old habits? OR will I strengthen my resolve for a better and healthier me? How is this freedom affecting me?
4. NEXT MONDAY, August 29nd, when you open up your spreadsheet to report your points, you will decide how well you did sticking to the original program without the accountability you're now used to.
The points that you report will actually be out of 100 (think in terms of percentages). Ask yourself HONESTLY how well you did this week. Did you stay 100%, 95%, 25%, etc on track? Plug that into your spreadsheet, weigh yourself and report your points via the blog. That's it!
Good luck to everyone this week!
Is there a journal entry this week? I started out the week great, even with exercise. Then yesterday I got stressed, and stressed spelled backwards is desserts, so I used those to try to reverse my stress. So much for my great percentage on the challenge.
ReplyDeleteNo journal entry this week...hope you are enjoying your week of freedom. I'm like you...started up good but yesterday I made cookies for the hurricane and have been eating them :(
ReplyDeleteI am still confused, how do we report it on our spreadsheet? There are more than 100 points possible. So, do we give a percentage plus our weight points?
ReplyDeleteI guess it would help to open the spreadsheet! Now that I opened it I see how to report. Monday- Thursday I was getting 100%. Then, I made birthday cake and things went downhill for me.
ReplyDeleteI did great Monday and Tuesday, but terrible the rest of the week. Ugh. Somehow I still maintained my lowest weight (for the challenge thus far--not the lowest I want to be--I have one week to lose two more pounds and I really want to lose four more).
