I still did not get everyone's points but I have given you ample time. Here are this week's results:
Highest overall points goes to (average = 169):
1. Diane
2. Kelly
3. Kim (I only beat Matt by 1 point...EVERY POINT COUNTS)
Most weight lost was:
1+ pounds - Diane and Matt
Holding steady - Blenda, Charlyn, and Kim
This part of the challenge is hard. You get tired of keeping track of points. You get tired of just thinking about exercise, vegetables, water, EVERYTHING.
I encourage you to keep on the right track. The results are slow to come but they do come and losing weight the slow way is the BEST way to do it and the EASIEST way to be able to keep it off. Try to do a little better with contacting your team members. Even a comment to this blog will count as a team contact. Or you can send a quick email. Diane, Kelly, and I find it convenient to instant message (IM). We can add you to our contact list if you want. With IM you can send a message even if they aren't at their computer. A lot of us use Facebook. Don't forget to leave a brief message on the Rainbow Team page and that will count.
Lastly, a BIG thank you to Kelly and Diane who got their points to me early yesterday morning. Kerry, Krista, and Rachel got me theirs just in the nick of time and mom's was a few minutes past midnight here but I know that is just after 9pm there so that is fine (plus I know how busy she is).
This morning I got points from Blenda, Matt, and Laura. PLEASE report points even if you did poorly. I want you to have that accountability and be responsible (and I won't say a thing about the points on the blog). We have 3 weeks left in this challenge. Let's make the most of it. WE CAN DO IT RAINBOW TEAM!!
Thanks for doing this Kim. So sorry my points were late. It has been an interesting week.
ReplyDeleteJust curious...is there a reason you don't want to post the points of the top three? I don't mind if people know how many (or even how few) points I get. And I think it might be motivational to know what the competition is getting and try to beat them. But if there's a good reason for keeping points private, that's ok.
ReplyDeleteThere isn't really a reason to keep the points secret except that was how it was done in all the other challenges I have been in. You can probably figure out about how many each person gets...each week there is a total of 170 points that you can get. If you lose 1 pound then you get 15 extra points which would be 185. This week Diane got 180 points and she lost 1 pound which means she got all the available points except 5 and she had the highest points. So if Erin hadn't been late getting me her points she would have come in 3rd place. Kelly would have beat Diane if she had been able to lose weight because she got perfect points (170). Finally, I only had 156 points so I was a distant third from them. The trick to this is getting perfect points but we know that takes work. Hope everyone's week is going well :)
