I haven't been measuring my servings. I just am eating less than usual. And I eat more vegetables than fruits with lots of fresh spinach and leafy greens. Do I need to measure the food I eat. Also, I am wondering if I should count today as 5 for exercizing since I was really active all day with going up and down stairs and doing laundry all day. There was a lot of bending but I didn't get nearly as tired as when I walk these hills. If I count it, should it be aerobic or strength building?
I don't measure my portions either. However, I did the first time I dieted so I would know. Now I just kind of guess. I also don't count calories. I am like you Mom, just try to eat less and eat more veggies. Also, not eating after 9pm had really helped my weight (makes me more tired in the evening though). I could probably lose faster if I counted calories but life is too short for that:)
